  • Globally manage, develop and implement Bayer's cyber crime and criminal acts defense as well as resilience in alignment with all requirements regarding compliance and our LIFE values as well as reputation and integrity
  • Lead all measures, operations and programs to reduce, eliminate or mitigate financial, physical, information or personal risks by criminal acts or cyber crime activities
  • Improve the continuous process of an innovative development and update all measures of defense regarding efficiency and potency
  • Build-up and maintain a strong and sustainable cyber crime network with all relevant law enforcement authorities and partners globally
  • Implement and maintain efficient monitoring measures regarding cyber crime defense and open source capabilities
  • Ensure efficiency and quality of all monitoring systems and the qualification of analysis team
  • Lead all operations and/or investigations regarding criminal acts or cyber crime activities against the companies business and/or employees including counterfeiting products
  • Interact closely with the interface Corporate Information Security Officer's (CISO) office and the Corporate Cyber Defense Center position in order to mitigate threats against the company
  • Promote awareness of security issues among management and ensure sound security principles are reflected in organizations' visions and goals


  • University degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management
  • Long-term work experience in the security field
  • Experience in guidance of international and virtual teams
  • In-depth knowledge of the legal situation at minimum in Germany and the United States
  • Strong intercultural skills as well as leadership ability especially under stress and unexpected circumstances
  • Strategic thinker (m/f) with innovative flair for original thinking in new fields without established routines and processes
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
